Maja is a Polish violinist born in Warsaw, currently living in Belgium, where she works as a violinist, soloist and chamber musician, composer, and conducts a violin class at the Polish Music School in Leuven.

One of the most important aspects of her activity is the popularisation of Polish and Mexican music.
Graduated with honors at the Music Department of the University of Veracruz, where she studied under the supervision of professor Stanisław Kawalla.
Maja received a Master’s Degree in Music Arts from the University of Music, Fr. Chopin of Warsaw, Poland – in the class of professor Krzysztof Jakowicz.
She received a second Master’s Degree with distinction from the Royal Conservatory in Brussels in the class of prof. Igor Oistrakh. At the same time, she obtained Master’s Degree in Music Theory and in Composition at the same university.

Maja is a laureate of many violin competitions in Mexico and the United States. She has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in Mexico, USA, Belgium, Sweden, Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France and China.
She was also member of the of the Veracruz State Secretariat of Education and Culture Solo Recitalists Fellowship. Maja appeared like soloist in concert series with the Xalapa Symphony Orchestra, Mexico, Tampico Symphony Orchestra, Mexico, Veracruz State Youth Symphony Orchestra, Mexico, Xalapa Guitar Orchestra, Hainaut-Picardie Orchestra, Belgium, and the Chamber Orchestra Arpeggio, Belgium.

Maja taught violin and chamber ensembles as well as theory subjects (solfeggio, harmony, counterpoint and composition) at the Music Department of the University of Veracruz.
She also taught violin and chamber ensembles at the Veracruz State Institute of Higher Music Education (ISMEV).
